Mark Waterfield
Mark Waterfield worked in the music industry for many years as a programmer, writer, producer and performer. He remains involved in music, recently having a song he co-wrote featured in the Oscar-nominated movie 'Volver' starring Penelope Cruz and directed by Pedro Almodovar. He continues to work on various music projects.
In the mid 90s he became ever more interested in the web, designing and developing sites until formally training in multimedia. He then began working, and continues to work, as a Flash designer/developer for a variety of blue-chip clients.
The move into training came as result of a friend suggesting him for a job teaching web design at an Adult Education college. This led to the acquisition of a formal teaching qualification - the City & Guilds 7407 Teaching Certificate. This, coupled with Adobe Certified Instructor status, made the move into the commercial training sector inevitable.
Mark now focuses principly on training Captivate and participates in the Adobe pre-release program for new versions of the product.
"Captivate is the best tool on the market for creating effective eLearning content. It is efficient, intuitive and wide ranging in its capability"
“I particularly enjoy running Adobe training courses at introductory level - handing over the power of the web to people who have previously seen it as something of a 'dark' art.” Mark Waterfield
Past delegates' comments about Mark's courses:
“Relaxed, informative & very detailed. Exceptional training.”
"Very enjoyable training. Mark has an excellent working knowledge of the software.”
These are some of the training companies Mark works for regularly as a freelancer.
